Nestled in the heart of Ireland’s breathtaking Lakeland region, County Cavan Golf Club is one of the country’s most historic and distinguished parkland courses. Just 90 minutes from either Dublin or Belfast, we offer a truly unique golfing experience shaped by generations of tradition and natural beauty.
Our magnificent course winds through the rolling Drumlin landscape of Cavan, where nature and design meet in perfect harmony. Towering mature trees frame many of our fairways, none more dramatic than the final four holes — a thrilling crescendo for any round. The par-4 15th, our index 3 hole, features water hazards that demand both strategy and nerve, delivering a challenge as rewarding as it is memorable.
From the elevated setting of our elegant clubhouse, players can take in panoramic views of the 18th hole — a fitting finale where drama unfolds until the final putt drops. It’s more than a game here; it’s a celebration of golf at its finest.

On behalf of everyone at Cavan Golf Club, we are truly honoured to step into our roles as Lady Captain , Captain and President for the 2025 season. It is both a privilege and a pleasure to represent this wonderful club, one that has a proud tradition, a vibrant community of members, and a reputation for warm hospitality and top-class golf.
We look forward to working closely with the Committee, our dedicated staff, and the wider membership to build on the successes of recent years and to help ensure that Cavan Golf Club continues to thrive, both on and off the course. Together, we will strive to maintain the high standards our members and guests have come to expect, while embracing new opportunities to make this year even more memorable.
Our diary is now open for 2025 bookings, and we warmly welcome all visitors and golf societies to experience our beautiful course and exceptional facilities.
