Located at Drumelis, County Cavan Golf Club is situated on the Killeshandra Road from Cavan. It's an 18-hole, par 70-Parkland course, stretched over 6,164 yards and is very popular with visitors.
Many of its fairways are lined with mature trees which present a continuous challenge especially on holes 14 to 18 which are regarded as interesting a finishing stretch in the Midlands. The 180 metre tenth is a very challenging hole from a tee-box in front of the clubhouse to a new green under the shadow of an ancient chestnut tree and indexed accordingly at 9 for Men and 12 for Ladies. The clubhouse itself provides a pleasant environment in which to relax after a game where snack and bar food is available..
Cavan is known for its hospitality and relaxation it offers to its guests, and visitors. Friendly welcome awaits all grades of holiday golfers and there are also a few challenges for the lower handicapper.
